Which university do you think is the best in the world and why?
A.
I think a few of the ivy league universities in the United States, such as Yale and Harvard, may be the best in the world. The prestige of these universities are a plus, but more importantly to me, it’s about the way that young people are trained in these universities. They are trained to think and question, to not just take for granted whatever they are told, but to question and challenge. They are also taught problem solving, how to think critically about issues in the world and how they can help to resolve these problems. Last but not least, they are taught how to express their thoughts and how to agree and disagree in conversations. I think these are some of the most important skills young people can learn in life.
