Public education in Australia is available to everyone, whether they are rich or poor. The Australian government makes it a priority to provide quality education to all its citizens. Only some graduates from high school will go on to college, the rest will start working in society. The public education in Australia is designed with this in mind. It focuses on technical and practical education, from elementary to college, to prepare students for what they need to work effectively in society.

A. Public education in America is available to everyone, whether they are rich or poor, just like in Australia. America also tries to focus and teach its young citizens all the technical and practical skills they will need to be a working member of society. But the America education system also likes to focus on the arts and creativity. These are valued in the American educational system and schools try to raise funds annually for the arts. There is also an expectation for all young people to go to college. Some students may take a year off to travel the world after high school, but they are expected to go back to college when they return.
