The official religion in Malaysia is Islam, which means it is a Muslim country. Muslims are forbidden to eat pork, because it is considered to be unsafe according to Islam beliefs. With over 60% of the population who are Muslims, the majority of the population do not eat pork. Standard pork products, such as bacon, are only found in specialized, non-Muslim stores and eateries.

A. Most Koreans do not like cilantro. I like Vietnamese noodle soup, but it is always served with cilantro. I always have to ask them to remove the cilantro. Many Koreans dislike the taste of cilantro. Many describe it as having a weird and soapy taste. To prepare for any travels in Southeast Asia, Koreans will even learn how to say the phrase “please remove cilantro” in the local languages.
