The Canadian Rockies is the most impressive of the Rocky Mountains. It extends southeast to northwest along Canada for about 600km, and it provides ideal grounds for easy hiking and extreme Alpine hikes. The Canadian Rockies has numerous peaks and ranges, such as Mount Robson and Mount Columbia. The Banff National Park is part of the Canadian Rockies and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Park visitors can hike or climb to experience the beautiful lakes, dramatic wilderness, and wildlife of the Canadian Rockies.

Q. Are there any natural wonders, like the Canadian Rockies, in your country?

A. Yes. One of the natural wonders that I always marvel at is the Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, America. Whenever I look at this natural wonder, I really awe at the power of nature. Water from the Colorado River has carved and exposed amazing layers in the canyon. It is one of the world’s seven natural wonders, and for good reasons. It is also so huge! I read somewhere that the oldest layer of the canyon is about two billion years old, which is half of how old the earth is!
