What would you do if you bought something that tasted bad? Would you forget it and not say anything, or would you let the store know and ask for a refund?
A.
It would depend on what the food item is and what it is for. If it is a small donut or snack, I probably would not say anything on the spot but I might casually bring it up the next time I stop by the store. It would not be a big deal to me. However, if the food was expensive and for a party or dinner with friends, I would most likely contact the store right away and let them know. Fortunately, in America, Singapore, and other places that I have stayed at, the stores are usually very helpful and will suggest either to refund or to make the food item for me again.
