There are two types of cabs in England- the traditional cab that uses the meter, and the mini cab which can be booked only from cellphones. The Black Cab and Uber are two popular cabs available in England. The Black Cab charges users based on distance and time travelled, so it is more cost effective to consider this service for long distances. For shorter distances or shared rides, Uber may be the better choice.

Q. Is it easy to get a cab in your town? What would happen if all the cabs in your town
disappeared
?

A. I live in the downtown of my city and the roads are very accessible, so it is not a problem for me to get a cab whenever I need one. I usually book online through the cellphone application for safety reasons. However, sometimes I would get a cab at the roadside outside of my house. If all the cabs in my town disappeared, I think everything would be at a standstill. There would be chaos and confusion. A lot of people would not be able to get to work or will be late to work because they have to take the bus or subway.
