  • Etiquette and manners are very important in the French culture. Etiquette in public spaces is closely observed in France. Speaking too loudly in public spaces is seen as very rude by the locals. The French are considerate of others by doing nothing to disturb them. They also prefer more relaxed environments so speaking too loudly in public can be disruptive.
