Kaohsiung's Pier 2 Art Center is located at Kaohsiung harbor. It was built in 1973 as a warehouse and was a busy trading port. It now houses contemporary art, including modern art sculptures, statues, and decorated buildings with graffiti. There are long paths for walking and a path that cuts through the center for bicycles. Pier 2 Art Center is the finest place in Kaohsiung for modern art and bustles with visitors all day long.

A. I especially like the visual arts, such as paintings and sculptures. I think art shows us thoughts, ideas, and emotions that words cannot express. It also allows people from different eras and places to connect. I think art gives people a different way to see the world. It also enriches our lives. This is why I particularly like the visual arts.
