Taipei 101 is the most recognized icon of Taipei. It is one of the tallest buildings in the world with 101 floors. It was designed to resemble a massive bamboo stalk. Located in the Xinyi district, the building has a multi-level shopping mall, food court, restaurants, and an international grocery store. It also has an observatory deck with 270-degree views of Taipei. One of the most impressive things about Taipei 101 is the stunning fireworks display every New Year's Eve.

Q. What do you think of Taipei 101?

A. I think Taipei 101 is one of the better designed attractions in Taipei. To me, it is a building that is in keeping with the times. I have always enjoyed going to Din Tai Fung, a world-famous Chinese restaurant at Taipei 101. The view from the top of Taipei 101 is fantastic. All in all, I think that it is a must-see in Taipei.
