Hello! My name is Christie, and I’m an enthusiastic ESL tutor from Canada. I am patient, friendly, and enjoy making learning fun and interactive. I love helping children feel confident while learning a new language.
In my class, students can expect engaging lessons that are tailored to their individual learning styles. My goal is to help students gain confidence speaking English and use it in everyday situations. I also make lessons interactive so children stay motivated and excited to learn.
I have over five years of experience teaching English as a second language to students from China, Japan, and South Korea, of all ages and levels. I hold a bachelor’s degree in the Principles and Methods of Language Education. As a mom, I know how to keep classes engaging for children, and I have personal experience learning another language—Spanish—which helps me understand students’ challenges and guide them effectively.
