Hi! My name is Darshhini, a Foundation in Science graduate aspiring to continue my studies in Medical Biotechnology. I’m excited to be part of the team and look forward to growing and learning together with everyone here!
I’m currently pursuing my degree in Medical Biotechnology while also building my teaching journey through part-time teaching and international education projects. Over the past two years, I’ve had the chance to teach and mentor students from different cultural backgrounds, including leading English classes at international camps and supporting students in local tuition centres. These experiences have shaped my belief that learning should always be engaging, inclusive, and student-centred.
As a teacher, I love to bring creativity into the classroom — whether it’s through multimedia storytelling, interactive games, or real-world projects. My goal is to help every student see the joy and relevance in what they learn, and to build their confidence step by step. I believe that education isn’t just about memorizing facts, but about sparking curiosity and empowering young minds to think for themselves.
Outside of teaching, I’m an extroverted soul who enjoys dancing, art, and exploring new ideas — yet I’m also reflective and always seeking to grow as both an educator and a learner. I’m excited to keep learning alongside my students and fellow teachers, and to share in the small and big victories that make teaching so meaningful.
