▶ Characteristic/Personality
I am an enthusiastic, adaptable tutor who aims to make each and every student feel safe, comfortable and confident enough to explore and experiment as they learn English. I am an empathetic and kind-hearted person, so I make sure to maintain a learning environment that provides all students with the opportunity to shine in their own unique way, as well as meet their specific goals.

It is a priority that students leave each session with a smile, as taking part in my class is sure to be equal parts exciting and educational. My approachable teaching style means that all students, whether shy or outgoing, will feel heard whenever they are motivated to speak. My goal is to encourage students to welcome making mistakes, and to cultivate a mindset that they are growing and improving with each brave attempt.

▶ Tutor’s experience
My position as a teacher at an English academy in South Korea provided me with the experience of spending many hours supporting learners of all ages, personalities and English levels. As a psychology major equipped with additional practical counselling skills, I have the temperament and the skills to bring out the best in students in a way that is compassionate and patient.
