▶ Characteristic/personality
I am a certified Early Childhood and Foundation Phase teacher/ tutor with a real passion for teaching the English Language. My passion stems from my love for words, namely; creative writing and poetry. I am patient, open-minded; and enjoy using my creativity and enthusiasm to facilitate stimulating lessons that inspire positive differences in the lives of everyone I teach. I work well in a team and can communicate well with people of all ages.

Mature and lively, I aim to facilitate influential learning experiences, while allowing my students to dictate lessons and lead with curiosity. You can expect my lessons to always be fun, engaging and thought provoking because what we learn with pleasure, we never forget. My teaching style is conversational and interaction based, where I use open-ended questions to engage with my students about all topics discussed. My goal is to expand my student’s knowledge thus making them lifelong learners.

▶ Tutor’s experience
I have +3 years’ experience teaching/ tutoring multilingual children of all ages in South Africa and Vietnam. I have experience teaching all school subjects in South Africa, majoring in Natural and Social Science. My teaching experience in Vietnam includes teaching English as a second language, IELTS preparation and tutoring students with learning barriers.
