Jungfrau and Shin Ramyun

Switzerland and South Korea are two completely different countries. One is a western country in Europe, and the other an Asian country in Asia. However, east meets west at Jungfrau, Switzerland. Shin Ramyun, one of South Korea’s bestselling ramen noodles, can be found at the peak of the Matterhorn. At the Jungfrau station, $9 Shin Ramyun noodle is given to Koreans free of charge. After purchasing a ticket, Korean visitors must show their passports to receive a voucher for a free Shin Ramyun cup noodles. This interesting promotion was developed in 1998.

한국에서 가장 잘 팔리는 라면 중 하나인 신라면은 마테호른산 꼭대기에서 찾을 수 있다. 융프라우역에서는 한국인에게 9달러짜리 신라면을 무료로 준다. 한국 관광객들이 신라면 무료 바우처를 받기 위해서는 티켓을 구입한 후, 꼭 여권을 보여주어야 한다. 이런 재미있는 홍보는 1998년에 생겨났다.
