Q.
How do you think we can protect natural wonders like the Twelve Apostles?
A.
One good way is for us to control the number of people that go to see these natural wonders. It is usually the vast number of people who visit these natural wonders that add to the destruction of these places. More people means more opportunities for someone to do something destructive to these places, even if they don’t think so. Strict rules and control over the behavior of visitors can help. A lot of visitors like to take a piece of the natural wonder home with them when they visit, like a rock, and this can have a devastating effect on the place over time. Another way is to educate people about the natural wonder, how fragile it is, and what they can do and not do to help preserve it.
