Malaysia enjoys tropical weather year round, which means it is hot throughout the year. Due to its closeness to water, the climate is quite humid in Malaysia. The highlands of Malaysia experience cooler temperatures but the average daily temperature across Malaysia is between 21°C and 32°C. Malaysia also experiences monsoon seasons. Northeast Malaysia experiences a monsoon season from November to March and Southwest Malaysia experiences a monsoon season from May to September.
