Day 25 - What is your dream house?

A house means it is a shelter and protects us from danger or terrible weather, and it also represents our lifestyle. To me, a house means more than that. A house not only provides a shelter for you but also gives a space for you to relax. A house should bring happiness and comfort you whenever you enter it. Choosing a house is very important because you never know what precious memories you will create in the house. They say home is where the heart is.

When I grow up, I want to build a house of my own. I am sure I will need many things to prepare for it. However, building my own house will be the most priceless experience I will ever have. When you either build or find a house, you need to find a suitable area. I don’t like living in the city. The city has everything, but I know I will never get used to the traffic, crowded subways, and expensive grocery shopping. The hustle and bustle lifestyle doesn’t match me well. Therefore, I will probably build a house in the suburbs which is a bit closer to the city just in case.

I have been living in an apartment since I was born. Apartments are not that terrible to live in. You can hang out with some of your friends who also live in that area, and I heard that apartments are good where there is a large population, and the land isn’t big enough to build many houses. However, I feel like I am living in a high-rise container. I hate being late for school when every tenant has to share an elevator in the morning. Therefore, I will build a three-story house with a huge garage and a beautiful garden. There will be two bedrooms and a bathroom for each of the first and second floors and I will make a big library on the third floor. I will paint my house green because that is my favorite color. With a little elbow grease, I think I can do it! What do you think about my dream house?
