Children's Day

Hello, my name is Olivia. Children’s Day is a national public holiday in Korea, and it is celebrated on the 5th of May. Children’s Day is a special day for all children in Korea. It is just as important as birthdays, Christmas or other major festivals. To celebrate this unique and fun day, most malls, parks, and stores prepare great events for children of all ages. I especially like Disney characters, so a Disney themed party on Children’s Day will make me and my sister feel special. If we get any Disney character costumes or decorations, I would be on cloud nine. This will be the last Children's Day for me, as I will be attending middle school soon. I am excited to become a teenager, but I am really looking forward to celebrating this last Children's Day as a child. I am excited to see what my parents have planned for me this year.
