One of the biggest attractions in America, the famous Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a massive sculpture carved into the rocks of the Black Hills in South Dakota. The sculpture stands at an astounding 60 feet high and shows the faces of four previous American presidents, including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. Completed in 1941, this sculpture is a tribute to the four presidents and their contributions. The sculpture represents the ideals of freedom and democracy. This attraction is known for free-roaming wildlife animals such as buffalos and goats. Visitors can also enjoy the presidential hiking trial, an evening lighting ceremony, and treasure hunts

What do you think of the Mount Rushmore Memorial?

- I think it is quite an amazing sculpture! I think about how difficult it must have been for the sculptor to sculpt something this big and I think it’s quite an accomplishment, to say the least. I also think that it is quite interesting that visitors can see free-roaming wildlife at this attraction. The first thing that comes to mind when I think about that is the danger. I wonder if there is any danger for the animals or to the visitors that free-roaming wildlife can be so close to people. However, I assume that it is okay, since they have been doing this for a long time. If there were any problems, I am sure they would have done something about it by now.
