Playdate

Hello, my name is Mina. One of my favorite activities is our Saturday playdates. On Saturdays, another family comes over for dinner and we have playdates with their children. We do not have enough time during the week for this special get-together, so it is always on Saturdays. We always have drinks for the adults and crafts and a movie for the kids. Everyone, including the adults, gets to join in on the fun! This special night where we can chat and play with another family really gives us something to look forward to. I have more fun playing with the kids because our parents are with us until late. Our Saturday night playdates begin as early as 4pm, because my younger brother needs to go to bed by 8pm. However, our parents allow us to go to bed a bit late on Saturday nights. My mom really loves entertaining and usually spends a few days preparing for her special guests on Saturdays. The activities my mom prepares give both the parents and kids a chance to get to know each other better! I cannot wait for this Saturday’s playdate.
