Parents’ Day

Hello, my name is Maria. Parents’ Day is celebrated on the 8th of May in South Korea, just after Children's Day on May 5th. I cannot imagine my life without my parents. They are very loving and caring towards me. I think parents are the most precious gifts that God gave us. They play a very important role in guiding us and teaching us about what is wrong and right. They help us through every stage of our lives and they try to train us for future challenges. They also help us to understand the world and how it works. Sometimes, however, I take their love for granted. I sometimes would get angry at my parents for scolding me when I was wrong. But looking back now, I feel bad because I realize they were just trying to get me on the right track. Today, for Parents' Day, I will give my parents hand-made paper carnations and a thank-you letter. I will tell them how much I love them.
