How to Make a Salad

My name is Sofia. I want to learn how to cook. My mother taught me how to make a salad. We buy lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, onion, and cucumbers from the grocery store. I help my mother to wash all the ingredients. After that, I slice the tomatoes and cucumbers for the salad. My mother taught me how to use the knife safely. She will also slice the carrots and onion. The onion makes me cry if I touch it. We put all the ingredients into a big bowl and add salad dressing to it. I mix all the ingredients with two big, wooden spoons. The salad is delicious!
