Eating Out

Hello, my name is Jinny. My family likes to eat out. We always eat out during the weekends. My family usually discuss together what we will have. We do not mind traveling hours to a nice restaurant. During the week, everyone is busy so the weekend meals are a good time for us to joke, share stories, and catch up with each other. My mom is especially happy when we eat out. She does not have to worry about cooking or washing dishes.

However, news recently reported on how poorly restaurants prepare food. It does not look appropriate at all, because they use unclean and out-of-date ingredients. I enjoyed eating out before I heard the news, but now I can not help but doubt whenever I am eating out. If we eat at home, my mom will enjoy mealtimes less because she has to cook and clean. It seems that we might lose our favorite family pastime if we stop eating out.
