The Eiffel Tower is one of the most recognizedlandmarks of France. It was built in 1889 and took only two years, two months, and five days to complete. Today, people from all over the world come to visit this extraordinary landmark. It welcomes about seven million visitors a year. The tower was first built as an attraction but soon became a symbol of modernity in France. It has two restaurants, one of which has one Michelin star, and a champagne bar at the top.
