Pastel de nata is a famous custard tart from Portugal. This delicious custard tart originated from Lisbon. However, they can be found in every cafe in Portugal. Pastel de nata was selected to be one of the seven best Portuguese food. The custard tarts are sweet and creamy. It is made with flour, butter, eggs, cinnamon, and sugar. A lot of butter is mixed into the dough to make the crust crispy. Pastel de nata is normally served with a warm cup of Portuguese coffee known as bica. Visitors can experience how to bake the custard tart and learn the secrets of making them in Portugal.
