Education

Interviewers will ask about your educational background during an interview. Many job seekers misunderstand the reason for these questions. They may be concerned that their education has nothing to do with the role that they are interviewing for, or that they graduated a long time ago. However, the interviewer does not want to hear about which school you went to, how long ago you graduated or whether you have higher degrees. They already know that from your resume. The intention of the question is to determine how your education has prepared you for the position you are applying for. It also helps to determine if you can fit into the culture of the company. Do not limit your answers to just your education qualifications. Talk about any education outside the classroom or training that helped you to gain relevant skills. You can mention specific courses that taught you important skills, projects that helped you to learn life skills for the corporate world or how the skills that you picked up from your school experience helped you in the working world.
