My New Little Buddy
I have always been a cat person. I wanted a cat for a long time, but my parents were very against the idea.
I finally moved out a few months ago and went straight to an animal shelter. I came home with a little gray cat. I named him Whiskers. Whiskers was scared at first, but he warmed up to me within a day.
He is a little ball of energy that runs around my apartment every day. He welcomes me at the door when I come home from work. He also demands that I pet him sometimes. He is going to be my little buddy for a very long time.

새로운 내 작은 친구
난 고양이를 항상 좋아해 왔다. 예전부터 고양이를 키우고 싶었지만, 부모님이 반대하셨다. 마침내 몇 달 전 이사를 나와 독립하게 되었고 동물보호소로 바로 갔다. 거기서 난 작은 회색 고양이 한 마리를 집으로 데려왔다. 난 위스커 라는 이름을 지어주었다. 위스커는 처음에는 좀 겁을 먹긴 했지만 하루만에 활기를 띄었다. 그는 내 아파트를 매일 돌아다니는 생기있는 존재였다. 퇴근 후 집에 오면 반겨 주기도 한다. 그리고 가끔은 쓰다듬어 달라고도 한다. 이제 내 고양이는 앞으로 오랫동안 내 반려 친구가 될 것이다.
