Lifelong learner
Lifelong learners are eager to learn because they want to. My friend Julia is that kind of person. She is very busy with both her full-time job and graduate studies at the same time. She doesn’t have a lot of free time but she is trying to learn German because she wants to go to Germany next year to take a photography course. She takes online lessons before going to work. In the beginning she sounded quite awful but now she sounds pretty good speaking German. I think Julia is very hard-working and she will be a professional photographer one day.

평생학습자들은 배움에 대한 의욕이 높다. 왜냐하면 그 자체를 하고 싶어하기 때문이다. 내 친구 줄리아가 바로 그런 과의 사람이다. 줄리아는 직장과 동시에 대학원 공부로 매우 바쁘게 산다. 여유시간도 거의 없음에도 현재 독일어 공부를 하고 있다. 왜냐하면 내년에 사진학코스 유학을 위해 독일에 가고 싶어하기 때문이다. 출근전에는 온라인 강의를 듣는다. 처음에는 상당히 발음이 못들어 줄만하더니 지금은 꽤나 유창하다. 줄리아는 매사 열심히니 언젠가는 전문사진작가가 될 꺼라 생각한다.
