Public Transportation

Taking public transportation
My car broke down recently and I had to take the public transport to work. The area where I live is far from the subway station, so I have to take a village bus and transfer subway lines twice to get to work. I didn’t look forward to taking public transport. The subway is usually full of people during rush hour, so it is called "hell subway." However, it was quite a nice experience. It was crowded, but everyone was quiet and had good manners. I don’t mind taking the public transport more often.

최근에 차가 고장 나서 출퇴근시 대중교통을 타야만 했다. 내가 사는 지역은은 지하철역에서 멀어서 출근하려면 마을버스를 타고 지하철도 두번이나 갈아타야 했다. 대중교통 이용하는 것에 대해 별 기대를 하지 않았었다. 지하철은 출퇴근 시간에 보통 사람들로 꽉 차서 “지옥철”이라고도 불린다. 그런데 꽤 괜찮은 경험이었다. 붐비긴 했지만 다들 조용하고 매너도 잘 지켰다. 앞으로 더 자주 대중교통을 타는 것도 나쁘진 않은 것 같다.
