Do Be Careful Where You Drink

In Singapore, visitors can enjoy alcohol at restaurants, clubs, pubs, or even in the privacy of their own homes. The consumption of alcohol in public spaces is allowed. However, there is a law restricting the consumption of alcohol in public spaces from 10.30pm to 7am. This also applies to the sale of alcohol. Retail outlets are not allowed to sell alcohol during those hours. Restaurants and pubs, however, are allowed to sell alcohol and visitors are allowed to consume alcohol for as long as the restaurant or pub is opened.
