I am patient, compassionate, and understanding. I am also self-driven, results-orientated, and assertive. My name is Daniel Phan, allow me to be your English language tutor!

Learning English is not just about being perfect in your grammar or being flawless in your speaking. It’s also about being exposed to a variety of different situations where you can use the language.
Students can expect high-quality conversational lessons and have many opportunities to talk and practice their English speaking skills in my class. Students will benefit from a patient, compassionate friend as a tutor, and at the same time expect solid improvement in their overall language practical usage.
I believe that an important teaching technique would be to establish a good teacher and student relationship. This enables a tutor to promptly evaluate and tackle every student’s learning difficulties as they progress in their sessions. I will assist in areas that you have trouble with.
▶ Tutor’s experience
I am an experienced English teacher and an experienced public speaker who has coached in public speaking events with young children and teenagers. I also have experience in emotional support when I assisted in counseling sessions, and I am a good listener.
원어민이 아니셔서 문법적인 부분에 크게 신경쓰지 않으실 수도 있을 거라고 생각했는데, 그 부분을 오히려 감안하고 조금씩 더 알려주시려고 하는 것 같아요. 아무래도 영어를 배우는 사람의 입장을 누구보다 알기 때문이 아닐까 싶어서 좋은 것 같아요.
말 할 시간을 충분히 주시는 점이 좋아요. 한정된 수업시간에서 제일 중요한 건 제가 말을 많이 하는거라고 생각하는 편이라, 물론 피드백 식이지만 너무 말이 많으신 분들은 저하고 안맞는 경향이 있었는데, 다니엘쌤은 시간도 주시면서 동시에 생각을 할 수 있는 힌트? 같은 것들을 주셔서 도움이 많이 됩니다.
다니엘쌤 사진으로는 어려보이셔서 잘 맞을 수 있을까 했는데, 제가 말을 뒤죽박죽 해도 찰떡같이 알아들어주시는 걸 보고 대단하시다 했네요 저도 모르게 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 말을 하려고 노력하는 것과 피드백을 잘 적용해보는 것이 제일 중요하다고 해주셔서 용기가 나서 나도모르게 신나게 말했던 것 같아요 여러 분들과 수업해보려고 했는데 다니엘쌤하고는 한 번 더 해보고 싶어졌네요ㅎㅎ
