I’m an English tutor and teacher from Canada. I’ve taught English for around 18 years, including 13 years in Asian countries, such as here in beautiful Malaysia.
My experience includes teaching students of all ages and levels. This includes creating and implementing curriculum based on the Cambridge system and other systems and methodologies as well; teaching conversational English, intensive academic and business English, and so on.
In the language classroom I provide an effective learning environment based on Task-Based learning and what I strive for is the “Aha! Effect.” This means, many wonderful moments when you, the student, truly feel “Aha! I get it!” My classes are known to be dynamic, very fun, and really effective. I am very mindful and caring about the progress of each of my students.
