Westminster Abbey is the site of the crowning ceremony of every new King of England. William The Conqueror was crowned at Westminster Abbey in 1066, and Queen Elizabeth in 1953. Many royal weddings and funerals have also taken place at the Westminster Abbey; the most famous being the funeral of the late Princess Diana. It is also the burial place of many monarchs, famous politicians, scientists, writers, and musicians.

Q. What would you do if you had a chance to visit the Westminster Abbey?

A. I would like to listen to a sermon at the Westminster Abbey. I have not been before, so I don’t know what kind of a place it will be. Considering the historical and cultural significance of this abbey, I wonder if people will feel that they have to stand on ceremony and worry about what they do or say, or will it be the kind of place where people can be comfortable and be themselves. I think it will be important for people to behave themselves and be on their best behavior when they visit a place like the Westminster Abbey.
