Flag of Italy

There are three vertical rectangles on the flag of Italy. The three rectangles are the same size but in different colors of green, white, and red. The white rectangle is in the middle of the flag. The green rectangle is on the left side of the white rectangle and the red rectangle is on the right side of the white rectangle. The colors of the flag means hope, faith, and charity. The color green represents the green land of the country. The color white represents the white snowy mountains of Italy. The color red stands for Italy’s war for independence. The Flag Day of Italy is on the 7th of January every year. It is also called the Tricolor Day.
