Boomerangs are an internationally recognized symbol of Australia. It is a symbol of the aboriginal people and a link to their presence on the Australia continent. Boomerangs were used for hunting birds and game, kill fish, fight, dig, make fire, and they are also used in Aboriginal dance and music. The unique crescent shape of the boomerang causes it to always return to the point where it was thrown. Australian boomerangs are painted in vibrant colors using traditional dot painting techniques. Boomerangs make great souvenirs for decoration and fun!

Q. Who would you give the Australian boomerang as a souvenir to and why?

A. I would get an Australian boomerang for myself and a few more for one of my best friend’s children. I have always been interested in the boomerang. I don’t think I will use it for decoration but for something to play with, especially when I am having picnics with my friends. It would make a great game that includes everyone, and it is easy to play with. I will also give a few to my best friend’s children because I think they will enjoy it. It will be a good game for them to play among themselves and give my best friend some peace and quiet.
