If you are a punctual person and your partner is not, how would you resolve the difference?
A.
One thing that I have done with my partner, which is quite effective, is I remind him of the event or appointment the day before. More importantly, we will walk through his day together and talk about the things that he needs to do in the day right up to the appointment. This really helps him to get to the appointments on time because he already has a mental picture of the whole day in his mind. He also developed the habit of thinking every appointment is half an hour earlier so that he can get to the appointments early or on time. Once in a while it doesn’t work and that is when I need to practice patience.
